Ms. McDonald, an alumni of Florida himtional University, currently serves as the Chair of the Health Information Management Program.
Prior to this appointment she served as the Vice President of Quality and Standards for Doctors Hospital Health Systems (DHHS) in the Bahamas. While at Doctors' Hospital she developed and implemented the organization wide Performance Improvement/Quality Management Program geared towards Joint Commission Accreditation.
Additionally, she played an important role in DHHS being awarded "The Ken Palmer, Silver Corporate Award 2000, for Excellence in Customer Service."
While in the Bahamas she also served as the chair person for the Prime Minister’s Above and Beyond Award Program, a nationally renown program that focuses on recognizing and rewarding outstanding employees and organizations for their contribution in providing world class service to the local Bahamian Community and tourist alike.
Additionally, she independently designed, developed and implemented the nation’s only Certificate Coding Program, which prepared students to become Certified Coding Specialist by the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA).
An ardent poet and writer, Ms. McDonald’s life long dream is to positively impact and influence Gen X through education and the word of God.
